kNOw Diabetes. Students lead the fight against Diabetes and other Life Style Diseases.
  
Kerala kNOw Diabetes walk 2014 Kerala Higher Secondary National Service Scheme join hands with kNOw Diabetes – Diabetes prevention project being implemented in Kerala jointly by Medical Trust Hospital and Diabetes Care Centre Kulanada  and World Diabetes Foundation - to organize 516 Diabetes Walks in 516 Centers in all the 14 Districts of Kerala on 14th November 2014, World Diabetes day. 100 National service scheme volunteers lead and Hundreds of people joined the walk in each centre.
 
November 14th is observed as World Diabetes Day and it is an official UN World Day. Global Diabetes Walks are organized on world Diabetes day and millions of people all over the world walk to raise awareness about prevention and control of diabetes

Kerala kNOw Diabetes walk 2014 will be inaugurated at Thiruvananthapuram by Sri. V S  Sivakumar (Hon. Health Minister of Kerala). 

in a function to be presided over by Sri. K Muraleedharan MLA.
Dr. G Vijayakumar will welcome all the walkers.
Mrs. K Chandrika (Hon. Mayor Thiruvananthapuram) will hand over the blue flag 
Blue Circle logo will be handed over to walk leader by Commissioner of police 
Sri. H Venkatesh IPS.
Dr. K P Poulose (Rtd. Professor) will give the Diabetes Day Message.
