The spirit of the walk 2011 and the inspiration drawn from the GDW social media award prompted us to develop the scope of the social media sites as a campaign platforms for this years Global diabetes walk.This year we intend to organize Diabetes walks, at the sametime motivating a few other agencies to organize Global Diabetes Walks on World Diabetes Day.The project titled Walk to Health 2012 aims at conducting campaigns,workshops and training camps for other walk organizers about the different aspects of organizing Global diabetes Walks.Our aim is to see that at least 50 walks are organized in different parts of Alappuzha and pathanamthitta districts on World Diabetes day,2012.
